Annapolis home care agency changes name

The Annapolis-based home care agency formerly known as Angel of Care has changed its name to A Homemade Plan.

Company officials said they changed the name to differentiate themselves from other home care providers with similar names. The company provides caregivers who help senior citizens and disabled individuals with daily activities at their homes.

Owners Matthew Wozniak, Ryan Friedman and Tyler Stott started the business in 2012 as a way to improve the quality of home care services in the state. Based in Annapolis, the company also has office locations in Calvert and Montgomery Counties.

Angels of Care In-Home Senior Care, located at 250 Merrimac Court, Suite 2, in Prince Frederick, employs nurse aids and a registered nurse to assist the elderly and individuals with disabilities with activites of daily living including personal care, companionship care, light housekeeping, transportation and medication management.

Three young entrepreneurs, Matthew Wozniak, Tyler Stott, and Ryan Friedman, opened Angels of Care to assist senior citizens and individuals with disabilities. All three of these young gentlemen graduated from Damascus High School and continued their education with degrees from Salisbury University.

The company is based out of Annapolis, located on the 2nd floor of 192 Duke of Gloucester Street, and serves all of Anne Arundel, Prince George’s, and Calvert Counties. They also serve parts of Baltimore, Queen Anne’s, Charles, St. Mary’s, Howard, Montgomery and Talbot Counties.

 An in-home senior care company started by three Damascus High School graduates was welcomed to the city of Annapolis this month.

Angels of Care, a company opened by Matthew Wozniak, Tyler Stott, and Ryan Friedman to assist senior citizens and individuals with disabilities, was welcomed by Annapolis Mayor Joshua J. Cohen and Annapolis Economic Development Corporation President and CEO Lara Fritts during a ceremony this month.

They opened their Annapolis Location, their first, in January.
